I believe one of the most important parts of my job is listening to my patients’ concerns and making sure they are truly comfortable during treatment. One of the things I am most proud of is how quickly our patients feel like this is there “dental home”. My approach to treatment is to make my patients feel like guests while introducing them to the exciting and innovative aspects of 21st century dentistry. I practice preventive dentistry where the goal is preventing gum disease and cavities before they happen, wherever possible. Your oral health is cared for as well as coordinating with your overall body health.
I have channeled some of my enthusiasm for dentistry by becoming a member of the Pearl Network (Practitioners Engaged in Applied Research and Learning) – an exclusive network of highly qualified dentists engaged in leading edge research sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). It allows my patients and I to be a part of the first-ever clinical research sponsored by the NIH at the dentist-office level. Patients who participate receive the same level of quality care I give to all my patients. The difference is you permit me to share and document your treatment information with other PEARL researchers. You are given the ability to form a precedent and make a difference in the dental care you may receive in the future.
