Teeth whitening is a procedure that’s intended to eliminate or significantly reduce the effects that coffee, cigarettes and other stain-forming agents can have on a person’s teeth. Teeth bleaching is the most popular and recognized treatment. A new bleaching technique has emerged called Deep Bleaching. The name is coined after the inventor, Rod Kurthy, a full-time practicing dentist who spent hundreds of hours in clinical testing of this technique. Rod Kurthy is also a primary clinical product tester for several major dental product manufacturers. The Deep bleach technique is so powerful, it can whiten tetracycline stained teeth and, in some occasions, even veneered teeth.
KoR Whitening is not a one or two hour procedure. It is a four week long process that starts with your dentist aking an impression of your teeth in order to have custom made teeth whitening trays created. Your trays are created in KoR’s dental lab in California. It will take approximately ten days to have your custom made teeth whitening trays created in their lab and then returned for your usage.
During your second appointment, the dentist would return your custom made teeth whitening trays, KoR Whitening gel, desensitizing gel, and instructions on how to use KoR Whitening Deep Bleaching at home for two weeks. You would need to wear the teeth whitening mouth trays every night at home for two weeks before coming in for the third appointment
After the two weeks of at home teeth bleaching the patient would need to return for their third appointment with the dentist to finish the teeth whitening process. This appointment would be between one and two hours in length, in which the dentist would examine your teeth and do an in office bleaching.
